so my friend is asking for his cage back so i had to make my own, my moms bf had built one back in the day for some other animal and it looks jut like the ones you buy, except the screen isnt metal...
its alittle bigger. 2x2x3..
i also had alittle tub like thing one the bottom to drain the water easier. and now the food down there cant hide in the cracks!

i also got an automatic mister now! thanks to summoners diy.

I like it. doesnt look bare to me, plenty of highways, and the plant gives so good hiding places in the back Etc. Very nice set up Could use another Plant though.. that plant when i looked at in for another 2nd opinion, is kinda small... could use another of the same kind - would look very cool.

No late night reading I hope! My chameleon will stay awake as long as there is a small beam of light anywhere, so I have to cover everything up.

Does look it little bare not bad case though. I would get a few more artificial vines and wrap some leafs around them though for sure.

I do like the craftsmanship of the cage, very nice. I am a wood kind of guy myself. I like the metal/aluminum? frame. Also good idea for a the bottom. Is there a drain in that or do you have so soak it up all the time?

How you like the auto mister eh? Those things are amazing. I wouldn't go without.

I would check to make sure it wouldn't restrict too much air flow, even if they are sleeping I think they still need air, someone correct me if I'm wrong?

from personal experience: find a good medium of what people offer and whats comfortable for you and for your cham. If he likes not hiding, then dont shove a bunch of hiding spots or it could stress him. If you see him in the tree hiding more, then add some more.. You are there to see what he does daily, so you make the call.

Agreed. My cham likes open spaces for some reason.

My cham likes his open spaces as well. On the other hand he does not like to be caught in those open spots. Sometimes he will spin right around the vine and play a little peek a boo game
