the other member needed to rehome her.
she contacted me, asked if i knew of anyone who would want her and the male she has.
i said if you pay for shipping (SC to MD) that id take her in..
she came yesterday.
 
i didnt even realize she was selling them off till i saw a thread after wed agreed.
but free is awesome.
but shes nto the female im breeding to this summer, at least not righ tnow.


Okiroo (forum member) has a female, Clair, that im breeding my male too.

we are also breeding our hoehnellis.
 
You're from Maryland? That's where I'm originally from! I go to school in Vt but I'm from Southern Maryland. How cool. Which part? And are there any veileds you don't want or know of anyone who doesn't want theirs right now? lol

I don thave any veileds but the two ive got, and they arent goin anywhere, lol.
I think danibug23 might still have her male up.. but id ask her.

and im in Gaithersburg. Montgomery county.
 
When you say her male might still be up does that mean for sale?

I'm from Southern Maryland. In Dunkirk. I used to live in Bowie and I actually did live in Gaithersburg for a bit when I was a small child. lol. Small world.

Maybe not sure. i know she had him for slae. but she also had the female for sale too.
you could PM her and ask if shed be willing to ship him to you.

I actually go to Bowie state for masters degree.

That's hilarious! And shipping up to VT would probably be uber expensive. I'd have to take the day off so I'd be home when he'd get here. Haha. How big are the adult males?

I also just sent her a PM being like, "hey..I heard you might have something..." lol

haha thats funny.
well shipping a cham from cali to Md only cost me 60 bucks.
the cam was 200.
and the males can be up to 18" long.
my guy is about 13-14. but hes not full grown yet. hes barely a year old.

the cham was free. i did not pay shipping on the female veiled.
I paid for a male hoehnelli to be shipped from cali to MD.
the hoe was 150, and shipping was 60.

i spent nothing with the female veiled.
 
That's crazy. If she offered to ship him to me I would snatch that up. Have you seen pictures of him? Is he pretty? ^_^

hes ok, hes young, maybe 6-8 months.
casque isnt as big as i like, and his colors could be brighter. but that could be from the camera, going to shed soon, etc.

hes healthy looking though.

do a search for threads started by danibug23..
youll see him in there.
 
OKay. I'm wondering if I should try and find a nice one for free, hahaha, or save up and get an awesome one. The turquoise ones are beautiful, I'm just very hesitant to buy anything online. Do you know of any good breeders on here that sell turquoise that don't cost an arm and a leg? hahaha

i know that one or two of the site sponsors do.
but dont remember who,
but i know its like 85 for a male turq one.
 
HAHAHA! So, back to the original subject. With one girly cham, would it be worth it to spend the 10 bucks on some horn worms? lol
