I ordered from mulberryfarms.com
they sell in cups of 25, but normally thesr a few more.
a cup of worms can last as long as you want.
but i would feed one a day at least because they grow so freaking fast.
now i order two cups, and have been trying to breed them, but no luck so far.
i find that they run out of food quickly though.
so i would also order mulberryfarms.com silkworm chow.
its a powder that you mix with hot water ,and then let it cool.
it then turns into a weird solid thing and you can feed slices of that to your hornworms to keep them alive until you feed them all off.

Yea they are cheaper during the summerish months when you dont need heat packs.
ANd thats wh yim trying to breed.
all shipping is gonna cost.
which is why you do a big order.
i order 2000 crickets and some sort of worm or two kidns each time i place an order .
2000 crickets, and 500 waxworms, with shipping cost me 62 bucks from reptilefood.com
but they dont sell hornworms. go figure.

i put my pinheads in a 10 gallon fish tank
and my large crickets go in a xmas rubbermaid tub.

I personally don't recommend using fish tanks as insect keepers, especially insects that create significant waste, as you always run the risk of shattering your 10 gallon aquarium when you clean them, which should be about weekly for crickets, more if you get sub-quality crickets from a virus infested farm. These usually tend to die off in high numbers weekly, and should be cleaned out almost every few days max.

I like to use 20 gallon Rubbermaids lined with packaging tape, a thin layer of vasoline, and some baby oil. Cut a 10"x5" hole in each long side of the container (2 total), and screen them out with some ALUMINUM screen (not fiberglass, as crickets will chew through this). Do the same to the lid for some extra ventilation. Then I would put some beneficial insects in with your crickets to clean up the mess, like dermestids, isopods, and springtails.

Roaches all the way! I was soooo tired of all the die offs of crickets so I stopped getting crickets and switched to dubias. Try getting some and not an entire colony and see if your cham and you like them.
