The first pic is at about 4.5 months old. The second pic is at about 6 months old.The third pic is at about 8-9 months old.

Don't know how this'll work, since it's going in as a thumbnail, but here's a montage of 3 years worth of Thaxter shots. The three youngest are right center (right when I opened his deli cup; ~3 mo.), left center (4 mo.) and top center (upside down; ~5.5 mo.). Blue bar Ambilobe, by the way (who usually thinks he's a red bar).

This thread has been exactly what I was hoping for. I think it might help those of us looking for a certain color variety as adults by seeing what kind of baby they might look like as babies. I know it's hard to generalize like this, but I only get to see pictures online, no one around here locally has a variety. So this helps. I myself am looking for some High Red Ambilobes and I had no idea what a baby would like like.

That particular shot was taken with Canon EOS Rebel XTi and Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM Lens. Canon EOS Rebel XTi is superceded by Canon EOS Rebel XSi. Both are great cameras.

There are breeders all around you in Florida Mo is an Ambilobe, whether a blue or red bar time will show
