B billford Member May 15, 2010 #1 hey everyone.i was wonder how long i can let crickets be in the cage before they loose nutritional value?there are always crickets left over.i have been keeping them in there for 2 days.i then catch them and feed them again.

K kinyonga Chameleon Queen May 15, 2010 #4 You can put a small dish of greens and veggie bits into the cage and then the crickets will continue to gutload themselves until they are eaten.

SpinyFranky New Member May 15, 2010 #6 If your doing that, perhaps offer the chameleon some of the fresh veggies as well? Veiled's are known plant eaters - but most species can eat it as well, its just up to the individual chameleon.
