how long are crickets gut loaded?

hey everyone.i was wonder how long i can let crickets be in the cage before they loose nutritional value?there are always crickets left over.i have been keeping them in there for 2 days.i then catch them and feed them again.

That sounds about right. I wouldn't go longer than two days, although I sometimes do

I would take them out at the end of the day. I want what's best for my guys, and freshly gutloaded bugs everyday is part of that!

You can put a small dish of greens and veggie bits into the cage and then the crickets will continue to gutload themselves until they are eaten.

If your doing that,

perhaps offer the chameleon some of the fresh veggies as well?

Veiled's are known plant eaters - but most species can eat it as well, its just up to the individual chameleon.
