It seems like a lot of people have been buying their first, or an added cham here the last few months.
Do you ever wonder how many cham owners there are in the US alone?
I wonder if there is any way to really know the number.
Unlike cats and dogs, there is not much incentive to spend money on scientific research, and there is sooooo much we don't know about them.
I suspect what little research money is spent, it is not chameleon specific, and is general reptile studies.
Unless there is a huge number of cham pet owners out there, we will never see products like species specific supliments and other products geared to
chams only.
I know of a few ppl, maybe like Dr O, who is doing research which is cham specific, but where do you get the funding for really major studies using large sample numbers and as much time to spend as needed!!
Any thoughts?
