Okaycant say how many pieces of cricks u need to give ur cham since i have no idea how big he/she (lengthwise) your pet is....
i can say if your cham is around 9 inches from tip of Nose to Anus,,then i would advice 10max crickets min of 5pcs...every other day... feeding must happen during daytime only....
i dont currently have a cham but ive had a couple in the past and id like to get another oneI wonder if I'm doing it right. I usually put about 8 crickets in my chams feeder along with 3-4 dubia nymphs and they're usually gone except for maybe 1 dubia and the occasional superworm which I also put 3-4 some days. I dont know if im in a good position to give advice but i read if your chameleon doesnt eat them within a couple minutes take them oit, because theyll actually eat your cham.
Mine is a baby (about 3 months) I can't help for the crickets to get out the feeder and im abiut to give nicks feeders are tey but the dubias stay there of course. I was just wondering about the amount of food.
Someone just had the bright idea to put them in a large peanut butter jar. Perhahps you could fix it so your cham can get out, should it fall in, but not the crickets.
Yeah that's what I do pretty much, I put about 6-7 crickets and some dubias in there around 10 am and again around 2 pm. If dubias are still there I put another 6 crickets. Usually around 4 everything is gone
