How many hours are your chameleons awake for?

6am -7pm is their lighting schedule, they follow it pretty well, on occasion one will be up a little later or wake earlier.

They are usually up at 7:45am and out at about 8:30pm.

Lights are on at 8am and off at 8:30pm. I can usually hear them going to their basking spots at about 7:45am, and they retreat to their sleeping spots at about 8:15pm.

btw... That is for 2 Veileds and 2 Panthers.

Amy's lights are on a timer to coincide with sunrise and sunset. The UV and heat lamps have separate timers - with the UV coming on 30 mins before the heat in the morning and vice versa in the evening. At the moment heat turns off at 8.15 p.m. and UV goes off at 8.45 p.m. She is roosting earlier at the moment as the weather has been rather dull and cloudy. On bright sunny days she stays up longer.

10.5 hrs at present, almost spring 7am -530pm AEST
11 hrs within 6 weeks, 12 within 12 weeks throughout summer.
:)
