You should do the scissors instead of the scalpel, they'll do about two snips and it'll be less painful than the sawing of the scalpel.

I like all the cool tricks you can do with it done after it heals for about a week, snake flicker, hold things with it, etc.

It's been four days and my new tattoo seems to be healing nicely. healed pictures coming in a few weeks.

Synapse, no it's a Catrina. A big symbolic figure used for Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead. I'm sure you have heard of it but its a Mexican holiday where all deceased loved ones are remembered. I had initially planned in getting it on my right arm to add to my Day of the Dead themed sleeve but it was so awesome and big I just had to put it on my other arm.

No piercings, 3 tats with more in the planning stages...
7/4/04 - just finished 6 hours of inking on my right outer calf- and there would be another 1.5 hours of touch up down the road....total length is about 10.25 inches from head to tip of the tail -not bad for free work, even all these years later
My back pieces - left side was my first tat, right side was inspired by my 2nd visit to Hawaii and grabbing an idea from a local shop there
Don't know what it was about those Hammerheads, but when I saw those designs I just knew I had to have them

I have about a dozen tats. My hubby is my main artist - he's a computer engineer now but still tattoos a bit.
I tend to prefer flowers and spiritual symbols.
Lotus on the back of my neck
Unfinished koi on my hip. more water and flowers have been added since this photo but it is still in progress.
Flowers on my hip.
Daisy on my foot. hurt so bad i made him stop. he still wants to finish but I won't let him! This is the only one that was really painful.

I have 10 tats, saving up for number 11 and to fix my very first tat (it was a simple flash drawing, so I have another design I want it covered up with).
I used to have..hmm..20? piercings. Maybe more, but I remember 20 of them. Now I have only ten left - all on my ears. My friend was training to be a piercer and I was her volunteer pin cushion, so all my piercings were done for $10-$20. I can't remember all of them, since some of them lasted for a day or two before I decided to take them out and let it heal, but if I were to count allll the holes she put in my body, I am sure I'd be up near 40 or 50, since she did mess up a lot while training. lol.
