I weighed my Adult male pather today and he was 56 oz which comes to 1587.5733 grams . Is this a good weight? He is 1 1/2 years old. Is this small, average......?

I believe you have calculated it wrong. There is no way your panther weighs more than 3 lbs. The average weight for an adult male panther is between 130 and 200 grams I believe. Parson's chameleons can get over 600 grams but they are behemoths. You may want to weight him again.

If you have a panther that size call Guinness book of records. I weighted my bunch yesterday and my male panther weights 246 grams. He is a touch overweight. I agreed that you might have made a small error.;)

I fogot to mention that he is 8 feet long and eats a chicken a day! lol.
I forgot the decimal. He is 5.6 oz which is 158.7 grams.

See my cham is bigger that your cham:D:D:D ok not so funny my guy is too chubby.:(

And you feed him a chicken a day, isn't that a little spendy?????????

A little pricey but I do what i can to make him happy. Otherwise i might get eaten myself:D
Mine does not look skinny or anything but he does seem to be on the smaller side. Do males continue to grow in length after 1 1/2 years? Or just girth?

My male that is over 2 years old has slowly but surely been getting longer. He is now 17 inches long and at a year and a half he was 14 inches long. So he grew 3 inches this year. I'm pretty sure he's about maxed out though. Ambilobes are on the smaller side for panthers if you as me. The tamataves, nosy mitsios, and sambavas always seem to get bigger. Well atleast from what I've seen they get bigger.

Ziggy has gained weight

I weighed Ziggy today and he is now 6.9 oz. or 195 grams. Thats around 20% of his total weight that he has gained over 6 months. Does anyone see this as excessive or is that typical for a male panther at just over 2 years old?
Thanks!
