I belive its been around a week since he pooped. i feed him 7 or 8 crickets every other day and he gets sunlight, plus uvb and a 50 wat heating bulb so temperature is fine and i pray his cage couple times a day. wondering how often they should, what would make him not, and is this a problem? its an almost 1 year old flapneck. Thanks hope you can help!

Are you sure it's not just fallen into the bottom of the plant or something? How is it acting otherwise? Does it act okay?

He's still eating normally? what about drinking? How often they poop will mostly depend on their age and how much they are eating. He might be impacted or constipated for some reason (like lots of chitin from mealworms, or eating substrate......)

I have one boy that has trained me to take him out of his cage to do his bidness. I took him out today and he didn't go until I put him back in his cage...

So hered the run down of everything. Has a uvb light, 50 wat light bulb i switch from night time to day time. i only really feed him crickets so far ive only had him 2 weeksish. maybe its hiding but i havnt seen it. the temp is the basking is about 94 and 80-85 in cage (so hes not cold) i spray his cage few times a day as well as give him him water 2 to 3 times a day. he just found a new spot in the leaves he likes but he does leave and walks around. lighting cycle is about 8 - 9am to 8ish at night. the bottom of the cage is that tambark so it could be blending it? but i mean id find at least one. i think whats causing it is the guy i got him from only have him 4 crickets a day and im giving him 7 or 8. hope this helps

Your Chameleon - Hes a flap neck male, about a year. had him 2 weeks

Handling - take him out 2 or 3 times a day. yesterday tried to but he didnt want to lol

Temperature - 94 basking, 80 to 85 for the rest of cage

Humidity - I dont measure humidity. i just spray down his cage 3 times daily with the tambark as the floor i feel like that should maintain humidty

Placement - My cage is next to my dresser and closet. its on a plastic tub thats maybe 2 feet tall.

I never kept a flapneck myself, so I can't comment on all of it, but you do need to find out about the proper supplements. It should be a plain Calcium powder (no D3) for everyday dusting. People often have to buy this online if the local store doesn't stock it.
Also, it's good that he is eating plenty, but you could make his food more nutritious by looking at some other gutload options- https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/75-feeder-nutrition-gutloading.html
Also there are some easy option commercial gutloads available to buy too, search for 'cricket crack' or 'bug burger'.
I hope he loosens up soon :)
