UPDATE: Turns out I won't be using this cage after all
And after all that work too... It just wouldn't stay stable enough with the door plan I was using.
So, I shall just use 1x1 wood that I already have laying around and a good latex-based paint to seal it and build a nice wood/screen cage. Probably what I should have done in the first place, but I at least had to try the panel idea. Would have worked, too, if not for the door thing and finding a way to attach the screen that didn't involve hundreds of tiny zip ties (drove me nuts, so I scrapped the cage).
I shall have pictures of the new cage ASAP. Shouldn't take me long to build since I'm much faster with wood.
