i have been doing searches and looking at threads but couldnt find anything
so i was hoping if anyone knows or has made one, how can i make one of those walls for my chams cage, using insulation foam/coconut bedding and branches
pics would be greatly appreciated :D

There is this silicone rubber by zoo med if you get that and some branches and twigs then put them all together in a wall shape form that would fit the cage that would be good

You can purchase cork bark flats from zoo med. These are easily cut to fit the back of any cage.

The background that you are talking about is a little more difficult to build. Watch this video, as it may help quite a bit. It is for an aquarium background, but i think you have the same idea.

i wouldnt use coconut husk on my wall in a cham cage. Its too easily injested if the cham is shooting at a feeder. Also I think its going to be a mess most of the time with all the misting sessions. I would go foam and use some good out door paint and paint the foam to look like a rock wall. Ive actually seen a cage that had one of those & it looked really nice. They even added fake plants to the foam so it looked like they were growing out of the rocks.

I made a fake rock wall background for my water dragons enclosure. If you go to youtube and type in many things.... Faux Rockwall, Fake Rock wall, Lizard Landscapes, vivarium rockwall... you will see many different methods of making it. Just use the method that looks more suitable for your needs. I spend all summer making different types with different products until I got the effect I wanted.

When I am not raising Chameleons I work as a scenic artist and build attractions for theme parks.

There is this stuff called zoo-poxy that is a two part "clay". mix the two parts together and sculpt a branch or rock and in a few hours it is hard. And it is non toxic...use water to clean up wet poxi..... Also will stick to just about anything so if you wanted to sculpt on a piece of plastic for a background that would work. Once it sets its water proof .

Sometimes you can get a "free sample" if you contact them.

Also a similar product called Apoxi sculpt. It is not as easy to sculpt because it is a little more more like a dough and less like clay when it is mixed ...but it also herdens hard and is non toxic .

"Great stuff" foam is good to build up rocks and then put zoo-poxi over it instead of something like cement. I am going to be using this method for my river dragon tank as soon as I get around to it

I have not mastered the making of flexable vines .... Tried dipping twisted cloth in liquid latex but wasn't impressed with the result .
