Humidifying terrarium

K so I work an 8 hr day, I haven't got my chameleon yet but I was wondering what is gonna be the best way to keep the humidity in my cage at the right level while I'm gone I was looking at the zoo med fogger do you guys have any other suggestions??

I prefer the actually spray occasionally VS the fog constantly.

What kind and size of chameleon are you getting? What size terrarium will you be using? There are a lot of variables that will go into how to keep humidity up. Are you using live plants, now many & how big?

If I know all that I can better help you with humidity.

I'm gonna be getting a Jackson that's still pretty small, in an 18x18x36 I believe I'm gettin the set up from a friend I'll have to find out for sure later. And yeah more live plants than plastic idk guess I should wait till I have it all set up cuz I might not need it I'm juss tryin to be prepared lol

You should also see if you can get a BRINKS Mini EZ Dial Timer (Also called Brinks Mini Analog Timer) or something like that to automatically have the UVB lights/Daylight or Heat Bulb turn on. It's an automatic timer that you plug 1 appliance into then you set the time and the 12 hour schedule for having the light or lights on. Buy 2 if you have 2 lights. They are only 4 bucks a piece ! They sell um at Wal-Mart

Don't listen to the reviews, they are a bunch of baloney. Talk to me how to set it up if you get one, because it is confusing.

That's what you want to start with, and if the humidity isn't staying, add a fogger. I have to 'cause I live in Colorado, but it's pretty humid in Oregon so you should be good with that. But Jackson's do tend to like cool fog, so you might get one just for his enrichment
