hello

I have been hand misting my two month old panther Cham and it just isn't increasing the humidity. I am looking to buy a zoomed reptile fogger will that increase the humidity quick?(it has been sitting @ 24% and even tho I have only owned a Cham for 4 days I know that 24% is NOT good)

Thanks,
Justin

Is that a good setup?

One reason your humidity is reading so low is because it is right under the infrared heat lamp. I would try moving this first of all and switching the bulb to a 75 watt incandescent bulb. They produce plenty of heat for your chameleon. The infrared is not a visible spectrum of light for the chameleon, so they are very susceptible to burns when these bulbs are present. Also, please do put the pothos in the enclosure. That will help in maintaining the humidity for sure. But first move the heat lamp away and see if your percentage starts to climb after spraying the enclosure.

Should I take out the croton or leave it once it put in the pothos?

Hey did you change the potting mix in that pot after you bought it? Did you wash it down real good to get off the pesticides, cover the soil with rocks so you chams does not eat it?
