Humidity

I looked at the pet store at the foggers they had but you have to cut a hole in the screen to insert the tube. I didn't want to do this so I bought a vicks warm mist humidifer. If I hold her directly over it she turns all lime green and had water dripping off her. I sat the humidifier in her 3ft screened cage and it seems the humidity is lower than when I misted it.
If on high I can get it up to about 73-75%. When on low it goes down to 57-58%. Of course if she would sit directly above it she would get more. Water is dripping from the leaves above it.
Any suggestions on how I can get the humidity up even more for her. Of course I am dying in my room where her cage is sitting but still it doesn't seem to be working as well as I thought it would. It said it would be good for medium to large room. Her cage is 18x18x36. I have the hood light with the uvb and basking light plus I have another 100 watt basking bulb.
Does anyone know what else I can do for her.
She is a jackson about 5-8 months old. She is 7 inches long if that helps with the age.

i would say that the 100 watt bulb is evaporating all your humidity. so lower that bulb and you more than likely wont have such a problem then.

That did seem to be the problem. Thank you so much for your advice. Humidity is staying steady around 83%.

Be careful with the warm mist humidifier. I got one of those first and the 'warm mist' was actually scalding steam! Make sure it's not too hot - if you can hold your hand in the mist at the same distance she's at without pulling away for more than a minute then it should be safe. But if you can't then she could get burned by it. 'Cool mist' is just room temperature and my chams love sitting in the mist from it.
