he can eat waxworms.
However,
how long has he been on the hunger strike?
most people say to wait him out. give him crickets euntil he starts to eat them again.

They can go a few days without food. As long as you offfer it, and he has water.. hell be ok.

Haha okay thanks, I guess I wont start to worry then right now. He's just sooo tiny so I just want him to be eating good!

And i have another question. I have hardly seen him drink..I have a dripper running most of the day so the water is there...but he is NEVER over in that area of his cage and when i mist i dont see him drink either. The only time ive seen him drink is when i accidently spray him and he licks it off his face. How do I know he's getting enough water?

In all honesty, my male veield never ate as much as he should as a baby.
Some days, and these were few and far between, he would eat 15 small crickets.
most days, he only ate about 5-10.
Now, he only eats about 5 large every two days.

Well that makes me feel a little better..bc i read he is supposed to be eating like a mad man but when he was eating he only ate like 10 or so. Thanks :)

You should let him eat as many as he wants. many people say he should eat 10-20 a day of smalls or pinheads...
But my guy never did that.. I dont think he ever ate more than 15.. and that was rare.
as long as he has access to food, and he has access to a large amount, he wil eat till he doesnt want anymore.. eventually.

Yeah i put a cup in there with about twenty crickets every morning. So he has free range to eat how many he wants. So i guess i just gotta wait it out.. thanks for the advice

Where can I order those? I was looking to order silkworms but since it's cold in Chicago right now overnight shipping plus heat packs costs an arm and a leg right now :/

how long does a hunger strike go? i think my cham is on it too because hes not eating at all.... its been like almost a week

Depends on the age of the cham.
Adults can do it for a few weeks.
Just dont give mealies and supers and such because they can then decide they will ONLY eat those.
