Anyone miss me? :p Anyways-I am still around, just have not been posting as much. I am happy to answer PM's, so don't hesitiate to ask away. Chams are all doing great, Comet is digging test holes, baby Flappers are growing like crazy, and Crested geckos should start hatching any day. Grandbaby is almost walking at just over 7 months, second child graduates from high school in June and will be going to college, and the little one will be a junior-man how did I get so old. All of this brings me to my next quest-I am finally at a point where I can make a life long dream come true...

I am getting a HORSE! :):):)

Not anytime real soon, as I want to make sure I do the absolute right thing. I don't mind taking my time on this one. As soon as the Doc clears my broken toe I will be taking lessons and potentially leasing a horse. I have visited stables and know where I will be boarding, and hopefully in the next 3-5 years we can move out to a little land so we can have horses and mini-Zebu cattle-another thing my hubby got me into!

I will keep everyone posted on my progress here, and a big thank you to Catherine (Pardalis Girl) for stirring up my horse passion as she gets ready to get her own 2 beautiful horses! Passion and excitement are such great feelings!

So that is where you have been. I have missed you and was about ready to call you!! i am glad you have been dealing with happy things and a BIG congrats on finally moving forward on your horse dream.

ive noticed a lack of post by you, but sounds like you got some fun stuff on the go.. i ve never really had contact with horses but i just love the great big eyes, they have a peafull look congrats

You are gonna love it when you get that horse lol. I took lessons growing up, but haven’t rode in the last 6 years! Awesome. Hope that toe gets better asap!;)

Congrats. You will love them. We have a couple of horses here on our farm. They are my sister-in-laws. I always want to get some of my own, but she doesn't have much time for hers anymore. And I'm afraid I won't either, so I just go down and spend time with her horses. I wish you luck. They can be tempermental at times;)

Hiyas bully lol, a horse huh? ive had horses there fun and worth it IF YOU RIDE EM.. i always rode my horses and took care them on my property didnt haveta board em so it was worth it to me but i seen alot of people want em get em haveta board, feed an water em an the horse seldom got out for a ride. Its expencive and time comsuming if your not goin to ride them.
Do you have horse prop or haveta board? leasing is a good idea getting into them.

LOL! I am going to take credit for you getting active with your old horse obsession....

Juli and I are friends on Facebook. I post there rather than here now because although I still have chameleons and love them very much, my life has greatly expanded and changed. My hubby and I bought a house on 10 acres in Idaho in December of last year and I bought two horses in January. We are in the process of building a barn, remodeling the house and getting ready to move there this summer. Juli has seen my joy and excitement in realizing my lifelong dream (pictures of my beautiful horses didn't hurt either) and is now determined to make her dreams come true too.

Way to go Juli :)
