that is wonderful news so very happy for you and him!!!
Thank you!

That sucks im sorry to hear that I to missed how he was hurt......how im the world did he burn it on the light ? where is the fixture at in your cage?

is it hanging inside the cage or resting on the screen top outside of his cage ?
Free ranging and climbed up a lamp in the living room.

VERY,VERY good news indeed :D
Thank you very much!

WOW, that is fantastic news!! I needed to see this as I have been following your story of Picasso's burnt tongue and wondered how he would deal with the loss of it. THEN...I heard about Fenix's passing and was really feeling sad. I am so very happy Picasso has found a way to overcome his injury and learn to feed successfully! I have a smile ony face now! :) Congratulations on your care of the little guy - he's lucky to have such a loving Mom!
Thank you so much, hope you keep that smile!

Glad to hear he is eating, that is great news, sounds like he is on the way to recovery, that was such a freak accident, I would never have expected something like that.

Did he eat anything today?
We tried a couple of crickets this morning and he ate two, had trouble chewing and swallowing them, needs to learn how to do that now....we bought him a little food cup at the pet store today and when we came home we gave him 3 wax worms and two crickets in it, he immediately attacked the worm but was unable to keep it in his mouth so he tried another with same results, so Steve open his mouth and put one down his throat and he did get that one eaten, then a little later he went up to his cup and grab a cricket and got that one down.......each day we hope he will progress more and more on learning how to eat and swallow without the use of his tongue.......really appreciate your concern, thank you.
