I can't stop the tears, he ate 2 worms and a cricket!

It's so good to hear that he is hungry and showing interest in food, you're just going to have to keep helping him for awhile, he'll get it!!!!!

He does show an interest about his crickets and worms but it is still hard and he gets discouraged because he can't quite get them down his throat to swallow, so he will give up on eating them......but he does get lucky every once in a while and get one to go down.....but I agree with you, he will get it.....thank you Lisa.

Any updates on the boy?

He is still doing OK, not being able to swallow his crickets hardly at all, he is getting frustrated I believe because almost every time he tries to get a cricket or worm it falls out of his mouth, he doesn't know how yet to use that small piece of tongue he has and most of the time he will just ignore the prey now.....still on the antibiotic for two more days and then a trip back to the vet I think maybe Sat......but you never know just when that time will be that he will start eating those crickets like nothing has ever happened, that is what we are praying for now.
