i got my 1st panther

This is BALROG, my 1st panther chamelon. i just got him in today from jim at The Chamelon Company. He is just awsome. I love his color, and his personality. I think i may be getting another one soon.

Are you sure? looks more like a tamatav to me. I have Anks and they all have teal on their crests and spine.

Just something to consider ...
Chameleons are very color sensitive and that pink color in his enclosure may cause some chronic stress.
It could very easily be perceived as a threat to him or his territory.
Is he always as fired up as he is in the pictures, in that enclosure?

There's another Ank shown on Chameleon Company's website with that coloration (unless it's the same one).

cool, thanx for the replies! no scince i got him he has only fired up that amazing bright color a few times when i try to get him to get on my hand, he opens his mouth and and he tells me back off i dont now u yet! well his color most of the time is a dull red/black. he likes to climb all over his 6ft enclosure,and he loves to hunt his dubia. Sometimes it is so difficult to find him in all his live and fake plants.As soon as i sell my albino boas, and some of my Aptor leopard gecko babies i produced this year ill most likely get another male panther.
