I got vaccinated!

I was so lucky she stopped by. I was so weak when I woke up after passing out, I couldn't even get up off the floor. Apparently I was dehydrated as well and hallucinating. Never had anything like that ever happen to me before. I couldn't believe it.

The disconnection from friends and family is really hard. We kept our kids out of school and they’ve been able to see their grandparents. We’ve kept my parents in our “bubble” even though that’s not the safest option"... My grandkids are going to classes so that's a big part of why inhale to stay away.

And a friend and I go up every year to fish as well. I miss Canada 🇨🇦"...we're keeping all Americans out until this virus is over. Sorry about that. What part of Canada do you fish in? What fish do you fish for?
So scary that happened to you, and I'm glad your friend was there and that you're ok now :)

I think keeping Americans out during a pandemic is the rudest thing Canada has ever done 😂 In all seriousness though I don't blame you.

Geesh @jamest0o0 ...that's unreal.

I got pneumonia and a kidney stone and another infection all at the same time this summer and passed out on the floor. I didn't know anything was wrong with me until then. Luckily my friend surprised me with a visit and called 911. I ended up in hospital for 5 weeks...but at least they tested me for covid and I didn't have it...and I didn't catch it in the hospital either! :)

Wow, glad you're alright!

Yeah I have ppl telling me to come over all the time and I’m like no my chameleons and the virus lol my family jokes I got the chameleons so I have an excuse to never leave my house again

oh yeah it’s the worse, my hands and feet were so itchy, then you can’t even eat if the sores are in your mouth (witch I happened to have as well). You just need to wait for it to pass, it’s horrible. I remember when the outbreak happened they told us not to worry because adults don’t get it 🙄 LIES!!!!!

It was like a burning/tingle/itch that wouldn't go away. I heard most people have it as kids and don't even know it, that's why they don't get it as adults(like my wife didn't).

I hate that we have to close the borders...but we need to keep our numbers low. So sorry.

It was scary and thanks for being glad I'm ok now...I'm glad too!

We were heading to northern Manitoba for Northern Pike and Walleye. I also go muskie fishing every year in northwest Ontario

We used to get mostly pickerel, muskie, pike, small mouth bass in mid northern Ontario.

My uncle used to get a moose once a year and my father-in-law got a black bear every year too.

A friend made snowshoes and canoes and oars by hand. He cleared rooves of snow and chopped and delivered firewood for everyone too. We used to hear the wolves howling and see them on the frozen lake in winter.

In summer, we wore tall boots when walking in the bush so we didn't get bitten by massassauga rattlers...and took a gun with in case a bear decided to attack us. (Im glad we never had to use it.)

Lyme was much more painful than I anticipated with the severe nerve pain. Thought it was covid at first because I had a 105 fever for days.
Same with me. Doctor couldn't figure it out. I had a fever for a month, they thought I kept getting a virus.

I got my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine today!
Wow, I'm wondering how you rated front of the line, but I don't wish to pry.
We're in (theoretically) 3rd tier, and I don't expect to be able to get the vaccine before spring.

News this morning said they're vaccinating 1million per day in the US, but at that rate, they'll need to start over for next year before they jab everybody for the first time. Realistically, to vaccinate the US in just 3 months... (320 million x 2 jabs) ÷ 90 days = a little over 7 million per day...

I should probably get tested for Lyme Disease because Ol' Furface has it. Not that I would get it from him, but we used to take him geocaching, and that's a fairly high-risk activity for Lyme.

I am considered 1A for the potential of participating in high risk of transmission procedures in COVID positive or COVID unknown status patients. I’m signed up for my second dose in 2 and half weeks

I agree it’s going to be a while before everyone is vaccinated. My guess is general population will be in the summer some time, but that’s only guessing.

Sometimes you can have lyme and not even know you have it with no symptoms. I suggest getting tested
