Hey Originally when I got my chameleon I bought it with a 65 gallong exo-terra vertical glass reptarium (i know bad purchase) i have moved the cham to a 100 gallon flexarium. but now my nice looking glass one is collecting dust in the basement. Any ideas of something i could get for it? Ive always wanted a snake but dont really know which type to look for or get. Im very open for suggestions!

Dart frogs are the way to go my friend You can make the most beautiful setups for dartfrogs They are so awesome. Maybe start out eith a red eyed tree frog they are a bit bigger than darts frogs but just as cool. If you got more advanced look into dart frogs they are smaller so the temps are more finicky and they require 1/8 crickets or pinheads depending on variety. I looked into this a while back.

do they stay that small? and are they a type of chameleon? are they as much of a challenge as veileds (conquered that challenge already hehe) i dont think i need a new challenge, just something new, easy to care for and cool to look at

Yes they stay that small. Yes they are a type of chams. From what I've gathered, and I'm no expert on Pygmys, they aren't to much harder to take care of with the main difference being that the spend most of their lives on the forest floor or rather near it, so you have to make their enclosure mimic that (humidity lvls, substrate, and more I'm sure). But from what I've seen, the kind of enclosures you need for them are pretty easy to setup (underlayment being the hardest part) and pretty sweet looking.

depending on where you live, i say pygmys are tougher to care than veileds.
I live in LA. So during summer, i'll have to keep the ac on 24/7 to avoid them being cooked alive in the glass tank.

but, they are very fascinating.
I believe this species will be my next hobby

They are definitely worth the effort (most of which is making sure they don't get too hot).

Real clowns with a ton of "personality". Just don't expect too much speed out of them.

I'd rather watch the pygmys than TV!

i have the same problem..i have a really nice glass exo terra with nothing in it.....can pygmy's live in a glass enclosure with a screen top?...if so how big should it be?

Why didn't you start your ownthread? Yes, they can live in an exo terra, the number you can jeep will depend on size.
