I have too many animals

So I think I’m going out of line here.
I have:
2 dogs
3 chameleons
5 fishes
5 praying mantises
4 leaf bugs
2 stick bugs

Total: 21 living creatures

Yeah and I’m getting a gold dust day gecko...
I'll weigh in

1 bengal cat
12 waxy monkey frogs
2 chameleons
1 ivory billed aricari
1 34 year old African Grey
1 half-moon conure

Plus silkworm & roach colonies etc.
And 300+ carnivorous plants which are even harder than animals lol

A challenge and a joy to try to make each and every one thrive

I will chime in here too. I think I listed my babies in another thread. But, here goes...
1 panther cham
1 turtle
1 beardy
2 guinnea pigs
2 cats. (1 being special needs- blind and deaf)
2 dogs
1 pineapple conure
4 parakeets
4 cockateils
2 lovebirds
(All birds have been hand tamed)
2 fishtanks
Yes, my babies take lots of time and money. But, I wouldn't have it any other way. My house wouldn't be a home without them!

LOL husband has totally cut me off. For some reason he relented on the new Kinyongia cham when I told him it would die in the store (which was true, of course!). I was blessed to get the kitty and aricari as rescues, I have a "reputation" LOL.

Everything I have is legal so no permits.

Like everyone else here I spend obscene amounts on these animals but every single penny is worth it, it counts as my entertainment and would rather stay home and watch them than eat out!

I have:
2 dogs
3 chameleons
5 fishes
5 praying mantises
4 leaf bugs
2 stick bugs

Total: 21 living creatures
....I’m just afraid I will not have the time for all of them. Of course my dogs and chameleons will always have my time, but i’m not sure about the others.. I’m doing great atm but I’m afraid for the future.
In that case, you'll have:
2 dogs
3 chameleons
5 fish
and 11 feeders! 😜

At our stage in life, we're down to 1 dog, 1 beardie, and 1 'meleon, but soon to add a western Hermann's tortoise (4-5" when full grown). It took 50 years, but Missus finally got the reptile bug.
(Last year she made "friends" with a garter snake that lived in the wood pile in the garage.)

I'd love to have more dogs. Had em & trained 'em since my teens. My fantasy has always been 3 Labs, one of each color—but we have to be real. The one we have now works for his kibble, and he's worth every noogie. :)
