I would definitely fill out the husbandry review, it will help us make sure you have the right supplies for your cham.

Chameleon academy https://m.youtube.com/@ChameleonAcademy and Neptune the Chameleon https://m.youtube.com/@NeptunetheChameleon are extremely helpful and educational channels. Their videos demonstrate many ways to provide an amazing enclosure to help your cham thrive.

  • Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? It is a male panther cham it is a little over a year old.
  • Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? dubia roaches, hornworms, silkworms and crickets. about 3-5 bugs every few days, i do gut-load but i just give them any green.
  • Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? im using zoo med repti calcium without D3 and zoo med with D3, i use without D3 every other feeding and with D3 on the 1st and the 15th.

  • Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? I use a auto mister every 12 hours for a min and a half.
  • Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? I have not seen yet
  • History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. I do not know of any history with him
  • Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? It is a 2x2x4 screen cage.
  • Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? I use the zoo med T5 5.0 I turn them on at 8am and turn them off at 8pm.
  • Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? my temp range is 72-85f, lowest temps i have been getting in my room at night is 50f i use a temp gun to measure the temps.
  • Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? I dont know yet.
  • Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? in the cage right now it has 0 plants, i dont know which ones are safe.
  • Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? The cage is located in my room and is not near any fans, vents, or any high traffic area, and it's about 2 feet above the room floor.
  • Location - Where are you geographically located? California.
 
Where are you getting your chameleon? For gutloading I have attached a sheet. Do you have a multivitamin?
Make sure you start measuring your humidity so you can tweak your misting to get the right humidity levels. Do you have a heat lamp? I have attached a sheet for safe plants. I also attached a sheet of a bigger variety of feeders. 😁

i got my cham from a buddy I will ask him where he bought it. I do have a heat lamp its getting shipped to my house. thank you
 
It took me a little longer to get him but i picked him up today, he looks amazing
Yay!!! Make sure you give him some time to get used to his new home, I wouldn't hold him for at least a week, you can start trying to hand feed him in a few days, It will help build trust. These creatures are super shy and don’t like to be handled much, especially when in a new home. Congratulations!!!!!
