I'm thinking 4-6 weeks, especially if they're being shipped. If you guys with experience are coming to pick up the babies, they'd be ready a little sooner. I might have my vet take a peek at the ones being shipped to be sure they're strong enough. So @ZacharyLeesWife , how long do you plan to keep the babies, once they hatch? Just curious, so I can try to do a little planning.
Definitely a compliment. You're knowledgeable and helpful and there's been a few times I go to comment on a thread and you've answered and have it taken care of. That's awesome.lol XD I like your response Nursemaia XD, it makes me feel flattered which I honestly don't take compliments well and usually causes anxiety instead of flattery, I think it only caused flattery this time because my brain was able to be confused about whether it was a compliment or not ^^
Ha ha! Well if that doesn't sound like lizard jail!I need some few good women too,one can cook ,one can do laundry dry clean ,one entertain n make me laugh all day n every Alphakenc day.
They're taking their sweet time for sure! They seem to be doing great, although I did have one start to go bad last week. You don't even have to candle them to see the blood vessels anymore. I just want them little babies to love on!So how are those little eggs cooking? I'm getting excited!
yes! how does a female get that blue?Oh my gosh this is terribly exciting. They are beautiful chams. I would die if I had a sweet veiled, at best Cam tolerates me but normally she judges me harshly from her favorite branch. She has this look she gives me and I know I'm anthropomorphizing her but I swear she's judging me and when I don't have bugs I don't meet her standards. I absolutely love her. Dilly Bean looks like she has that veiled attitude and she looks great in her socks. Little Foot is a handsome male and no wonder she was receptive towards him. I was under the impression that she just laid her clutch, not last year. That's great, that means most of the waiting is over. I know when I was waiting for Mel to finally be ready to come home to me last year it was the longest wait. I was anticipating the same thing with yours. Eeeeekkkk. Have you ever hatched a clutch before? I haven't but I've heard the same thing as you about the lower temp and it creating a longer hatch time and therefore stronger babies. I think that's a prudent decision and the right way to go. The eggs definitely look good to me.
In 6 months if you keep one for me I would love to buy one then! (My birthday is in 6 months)Beanie's first clutch is going to be hatching by late April. What should I do with these little guys??? They were seriously accidents, but I need to know that they go to good homes.
