I need urgent help chameleon black and bottom of tank and has been a couple of days!!

If you want any good advice youve got to be more specific about lighting and supplementation. Im not really familiar with nutribol but be sure that is in fact what you are using and someone who is familiar with it will be able to direct you further. AT this point youve got to do more research and you might find where your going wrong without any advice. At 6 months I doubt shes gravid. Remember that gravid and egg bound mean two different things. Also try to get a brighter pic of your cham if you can.

Your UV is an Exo Terra? Is it a tube Spirl, how old is the bulb it's self?
You say her cage is 30x10x10 is that in inches?

These are the answers we need in the form.

Your chameleon needs a vet. Can you get a better picture of her legs? It looks bent in the photo, and could possibly have MBD

You requested URGENT help. I hope you will be able to follow advice given.

The pic is dark but if that is her arm I see near her head then it looks very rounded at the elbow and forearm. It appears to be broken. I lightened the pic a bit and drew arrows. The foreleg looks very swollen.

I wish you would have answered Jessica's questions.

Three days dark and on the bottom of the cage not moving. A possible broken arm. A round arm on a cham likely suffering from MBD. And "usually has her eyes closed and is not bothered by me"...

Please do not take this animal to a reptile shop. Open the phone book, look up veterinarians, call a few and ask for the closest ones that do reptiles. Reptiles are very popular in the UK. You should be able to find veterinary help in Lancashire. It doesn't have to be a chameleon vet. It really doesn't have to be a reptile vet. Most vets can help with basic issues like calcium, dehydration, etc.

Please look through this and find a vet near you... I agree with the fore mentioned, it sounds like an injury rather than an illness... And the coloration is more stress and pain than egg bound or anything else and sleeping during the day is almost if not always a bad sign so please... As quickly as you can, take that cham in but make sure that the vet you take it to has a specialty in exotics because all too often these vets make bigger claims than what they can guarantee.. I had to put down a dog after she suffered for a month because a vet told me she had flees, we treated her with baths that only seemed to irritate it more and she was absolutely miserable. Only after THREE opinions from awful "recommended" vets did we find out our little rescue pit puppy had mange and had been absolutely suffering... I never forgave myself. Please get that little one to a vet

I am also in Morecambe and have found in the past that Bay Vet Group will look at reptiles and discuss cases with specialists failing that there is a specialist reptile vet in Poulton Le Fylde near Blackpool just google reptile vets in Lancashire!!
Good luck

You said..."is not eating she is really dark green and black and usually if i touch her with a single drop of water she would tell me to back off but now she just sits there"...IMHO this could very well mean that she is either eggbound or heading there.

You said you put a container of coconut substrate in the cage. The container needs to be at least 12" deep x 12" x 8", opaque and filled almost full of the substrate. The substrate should be moist enough to hold a tunnel and in this situation I would dig her a hole on about a 45 degree angle and put her near it.

If you are very lucky she will lay the eggs. If she doesn't show any signs of digging, etc. then she needs to go to a vet ASAP.
