I’m really not scared of anything, but when I see a hairy fat spider I automatically become female partner and my girlfriend becomes macho man.

It’s funny when the four year old comes running to check on his baba and screams “ mama, baba hurt! Baba you alright?” mamas are built different I guess

It's a black widow. I got a bottle of spider killer at Wal-Mart yesterday and sprayed it down pretty good. I'm not all that bothered by spiders, but I'm not thrilled about the idea of a bunch of baby black widows hatching right outside my front door.

I find they smoosh just like other spiders. Make sure you get the egg sack. Don't use your bare feet.

PS a flame thrower also works well but can have unintended consequences.

Maybe consider putting her and her eggs up for sale?

I used to keep widows to fill empty tanks, some of the easiest pets out there.

I know this is old but my mom literally slaps wasps with her bare hand while my dad puts in oven mits and uses a shoe

I just read that as "black windows" and thought you were thankful for almost never seeing the barn & sheds because of blacked out windows.

Old thread but,... wd40 will kill the spider and it also repels the spiders from coming back to that area. Try it. It really does work!
