I thought he was getting better...

Your Chameleon - 6 month(I was told) male Ambilobe Panther chameleon. I got him on Sunday from a guy who was his third "owner". So he's been through at least 4 peoples hands now.
Handling - I've been handling him a couple times a day, mostly to move branches and help him from falling. :(
Feeding - he has eaten Crickets and 1 horn worm. I have offered him super worms and wax worms also, but he's not interested in bowl feeding it hand feedings. I dusted them with RepCal Calcium w/D3 once and a ZooMed Multivitamin the next day. Always spray with liquid plain calcium Spray. Gut loading my crickets with soles and cucumbers and I just added some flaxseed meal and they are getting Flukers calcium fortified Water cricket food stuff.
Watering - hand misting once an hour during the day hours, drip system all day.
Fecal Description - it was dark and hard and I'm guessing it was pee, but it was white. Not been tested.
History -I purchased him Sunday from someone who said he just didn't have time for him, that he was kind of a impulse but for his girlfriend. He was neglected and not doing well, but obviously he didn't tell me that. This is my first chameleon and i did research care before I decided to get one. Honestly didn't expect a charity case but it is what it is.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - all screen, I'm not exactly sure of demensions but it is up to my belly button tall and it's almost two feet wide.
Lighting-Zilla Tropical 25 T8 bulb and a Basic basking bulb from PetSmart. I also have a moonlight I don't use.
Temperature - Basking level temp runs about 83 during the day and about 70 at night. Mid level is 75 and lower is 70. I have thermometers for lower and upper level. Upper level has digital temp and humidity gauge.
Humidity -hand misting and live plant. I also have a small heater that I have to set to turn on when the temp drops to 70. He is set up in my walk in closet agains two walls in a corner.
Plants - Yes, Shefflera and some fake leaves.
Placement - I have him set up on a 3 foot high table stand and his cage is y'all so he's pretty much at eye even when I stand up next to it.
Location - North Texas

Current Problem - like I stated, I purchased him from someone who had neglected him. He was having mild signs of MBD but mostly looked pretty good. No bent joints and no curved limbs. He had a shaky left front arm and kept grabbing his front legs when he would walk. His coloration was dark. He was seeming to liven up after day two of me having him. Drinking a ton the second day. Eating. He was having trouble sticking bugs, he would hit them but they wouldn't stick. I believe he was very dehydrated. His skin was rough and he had/has some shed he can't get off from around his face but I bought some oil to help him with that.

He was doing great, he was brightening up and awake more. But today I went to the reptile store to buy him hornworms and dubias and came back and he wouldn't pick his back legs up. He kept pulling himself around with just his front arms and he already has a hanky left arm. He kept falling. I helped him up and got him out and noticed a dark spot on his right back side. A bruise I suspect. I think he fell all the way down whole I was gone :( I'm so sad because I had just started getting him better and get his strength back. Poor guy.

I'll attach some pictures but they always upload sideways for some reason.

Welcome to the forums. I hope your little man recovers. I have a suggestion since he's fall. Either lay the cage on the side, put him in a short cage or put a catch net in his cage. If he falls he's going to hurt himself worse. Has he been to the vet? If he's showing signs of MBD he should be on liquid calcium. I don't recommend the spray calcium even for healthy chams. With a bone issue you need to be very careful to get him the correct lighting and supplements. I'd say he's dehydrated also from looking at the poop. I recommend longer mistings and a dripper. I'm attaching my blog below for new keepers. It's how I have had success with my panthers and veileds. Hopefully it will help you with your little man. I'm also attaching a link about MBD.

Thank you. Yes, when I got him he was severely dehydrated. His poop today is a lot wetter. I've been misting once an hour and I do have a drip system in place. I'll get him the powder calcium, but this liquid was all the store had at the time.
