Ideas on Locale?

I wouldn't rule out ambilobe if that is what he was sold as. Only time will tell. I've seen quite a few ambilobes that have white on the throat. A great example would be candy cane from chameleon paradise:

Some of the breeders on flchams site have yellow on the mouth (ambilobe.)

Yeah but if its outside the cage, your losing a ton of the usable UV by being filtered through the mesh, thats why you should get the D3+ if outside the cage. Also, remember UV doesnt penetrate through glass (although you probably know that) so if your using a glass viv you cant put it outside.

Will order a new D3+ tube then, he is in a 2x2x4 Reptibreeze so no glass!

So its been a couple of months and my panther has had a few more sheds.

here are some updated pics of him.

I love the blue line he has down his spine. He still has the red/white neck stripes though. Lovely blue bars that he shows alot and some yellow markings to the base of his tail/lower back.

Im still unsure what he could be! Did you change to the freshwater pro bulbs in the end. I want to use more liveplants in my cages but the strong uv seems to burn most leaves!

Hi Bradley,
Yes I took the Arcadia Tropical Pro bulb out as it was too pink. I actually bought some white 10k T5 bulbs from Amazon which have been great for the plants. They are for aquariums/fish and only cost £13 for 2 tubes. No leaf burn! Plants are thriving!

Hmm the pink leans me towards Ankaramy but the green/blue would lean toward Ambilobe or Ambanja.....
I'd say either Ankaramy x Ambanja/(and,or)Ambilobe......IMO

There is a thread on this forum for "before & after" Pictures showing how chameleons can change look/coloration as they grow. You should post a couple of pics there too.

Wow. He has some interesting colors. They do seem to be strange for a full ambilobe, but I would still wait until he is older as some juvies can have weird colors..
