I'm losing her, no recommendations?

My first post this morning. She's worse. I don't know what to do.
  • Your Chameleon - Female Ambilobe Panther, 1.5 years old, owned for 1 year.
  • Handling - a few times a week.
  • Feeding - Superworms, Dubia. She might eat 3-4 things a day. Gut loaded on repashy burger, sometimes romaine and cucumbers.
  • Supplements - herpavite multi Everytime, calcium +d3 every other week. Sometimes a little vitamin A oil on the bugs when her eye condition flares up
  • Watering - Mister spray 3 times a day, rain bag that drips down for an hour every day. I see her drink.
  • Fecal Description - poop was normal until today, which was almost all clear liquid.
  • History - he has an eye issue that flares up every so often and has seen a vet for it. A couple days of vitamin a on the bugs clears it up.

Cage Info:
  • Cage Type - screen cage, 2x2x4
  • Lighting - she's currently outside, so natural sun in the early part of the day, maybe 5 hours before the shade covers her.
  • Temperature - basking in the morning is probably about 85-90 ambient in the shade is probably 80-85. It did get pretty hot the last few days, but neither Cham showed any signed of distress. There were pretty good breezes going to circulate the air.
  • Humidity - MO humidity, which is pretty high right now, 60-85%, plus misting.
  • Plants - decent sized live shefflerra and vines, branches, laying bin.
  • Placement - on the deck outside.
  • Location - just outside of St. Louis MO

Current Problem - She was mated on the 11th of June. I strongly suspect that she is gravid. She's been fine, active, although eating a little less since the breeding. Didn't eat anything yesterday. I offered her a dish of bugs, she seemed excited about it, then turned away. I saw her climbing all over and drinking yesterday. Today she is dehydrated. I made her eat some repta-boost, then she threw it up. Then she pooped a gooey clear liquid with a little stringy-poor-forme urates. Her color is still good, but her head and eyes are sunk.
Vet is closed today, I need to keep her stable until tomorrow. Pedialyte ok? A drop an hour? Anything else to try? I'm not going to bring her to a non reptile vet.

*Since confirmed no reptile vets available. I'm sure that an inexperienced person handling her would be the end.

Does she has a laying bin? She may need to lay eggs. They normally lay around 30 days after mating. Pedialyte would be ok. .05 three times a day. I hope she makes it.

Yes she has a laying bin.
I can't believe this set in so fast, I'm wondering if there is some kind of plant fungus or something at fault.
I bought some more stuff, I'll try some bug juice. I need a miracle.

She could be egg bound. Can she see any other pets? Can she see any other chameleons, including females? Can she get in and out of the lay bin with ease? Have you tried the shower method for hydrating her?

I don't see how she could be egg bound yet, it hasn't been enough time. She was bred on June 11th.
Pic 1 is her laying bin. I did the little hole, not her.

Pic 2 I her plant with whatever the white stuff is on one of the branches.
Pic 3 is the surprise I found growing in the plant while taking a pic of the laying bin. Not sure what kind of mushroom, and I can't be sure it was or wasn't there yesterday. I had her out of her cage yesterday while iiwas nursing her regardles.

Vet opens at 8 this morning, I plan to be there right then. Not sure what they can do, she looks bad bad bad. :( At this point, I'm trying to decide if it's ethical or not to harvest the eggs from her poor little body after she passes.

If you have mushrooms growing the lay box might be to wet. I wouldn't get the eggs harvested unless her life is at risk.

I very much think she's on the way out. I would only harvest in the form of a necropsy. If I decide to do that. What are my chances that she's just not genetic quality and that's why her health failed? I'll know more soon...

What is the white stuff all over the leaves? Pesticide?

The breeding date has no effect on her being egg bound, she could have been developing those eggs well before you bred her.

I've been keeping her outside. That white isn't on every leaf, just a few.

Laying bin looks good, not too wet, but still holds a tunnel.

She just pooped on me, an undigested superworm head and few segments came out along with some tan-yellow goo. The odor coming from my hand smells like unmistakable egg smell, which leads me to believe something has burst.

At this point, even with a shot of oxytocin, there's no way she's got the energy to push them out.

I'm supplementing with bug juice. If I can get her to keep fluids down, I'll reevaluate.

I wish I could help you but it sounds like a vet is in dire need. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Thank you.

As it turns out, Sunday is the worst day for a reptile to get sick around here. I'm very fortunate to have 2 very good reptile vets in the area any other day of the week.
I feel so helpless.

She could be egg bound with infertile eggs, especially if she could see the male!!! Thus my line of questioning!

I'm sorry Mike, my mind is all over the place. The leaves have no pestacides. Hard water is a possibility, but none of the others have it.
She mated with the male which I saw, on June 11th. I've had the laying bin in there since a week after. The substrate is a mix of play sand, reptile dirt, and organic peat, only damp enough to hold a tunnel. The bin was at the back of the cage, hidden from view, from me, with other plants.
I've been researching all morning. Anything from kidney and/or liver failure, to egg binding, to poisoning. I thought for sure I had it all right.
