I honestly think my chameleon got me out of my depression. I have something to look forward to everyday and all I wanna do it keep this little guy happy and healthy.

Same with my gf! I read a long time ago that depression isn't necessarily just sadness, but the lack of caring. You stop caring about your looks so you let yourself go, you stop caring about your job so you start doing bad, and it gets to a point where you stop caring about more and more things.

My gf suffers from depression a lot, but after getting our 1st Chameleon, I see her more happy and more excited. We got a Fig Tree with our Chameleon, and now she has something to tend and care for, get's up every morning and mists the tree and our Chameleon, she waters the tree before going to work. It's made a huge difference in her life for sure!

Before I got Leon my room was a mess and I was irresponsible, didn't really care. Keeping Leon made me a clean freak, more focused so im less irresponsible, and I got something that is fun to do and take care of.

It’s amazing how much Joy they bring- I can’t imagine a day without them.
Having them sleep on my hand or eat from it is a sign of the trust they put into me.
