I want to start a breeding project very soon. But im a little hesitent about it, due to the fact it will be my first time. Can anyone help me out, and give me some info about diapause and fluctuations, to make sure I didnt miss anything. I see posts about people keeping the eggs at high temps, then low. How will l know when to drop or turn up temperatures. Or does anyone have a schedule they followed that could help me in the future. I also have seen people use ice coolers as incubators. Any thoughts on that.

Hi,
Welcome to the forums. Incubating is actually pretty easy and you most likely will not need an incubator. You will just need a cool dark place such as a closet to keep them in. A constant temp in the low 70's and 6-12 months later you will have babies, then the real work will begin. Use the search function and you will find many threads on incubation.
There are a lot of great people here with tons of info :)

If you are breeding panthers or veileds- you can literally worry about diapause and switching up temps later on when you feel up to it. They can be incubated many different ways successfully, including simply keeping them at room temperature for several months.
