Hello! I am looking for suggestions for a nice indoor house plant(preferrably plastic) that my Cham can hang out in when he goes out of his enclosure! Wanted plastic so I dont have to water since house is carpeted! Maybe something with lots of branches fo him to roam around in and something high! Maybe 5ft or 6ft?

Alternatively i would like suggestions on a branchy plant also I can put outside(live is fine) for him to hang out on an bask in the sun!

Where can I buy these plants? Walmart? Armstrong Gardens?

Your help is much appreciated! :):)

Michael's is a good place to but fake trees. For live plants try Home Depot or Lowes. Be sure to watch your chameleon every single moment you have him outside. I see terrible thing happen to them on here all the time. :(

I think if I was going to set up a fake tree for outdoor basking I would plan to make a netting cover for it so the cham couldn't escape it. You can get protective netting (Bird-X) designed to keep birds out of orchard trees, drape it over the tree and secure it around the trunk. Be sure the net size is smaller than your cham's head. Make some sort of door, or just fold back part of it so you can put the cham in the tree whenever you need to. Better safe than sorry!

Ohhh thanks! Let me check Michaels then! Thanks! Yea ive been checking home depot! They have a limited number and I think I can only even find umbrella plant at Armstrong! Is bonsai a good tree to use?

Yes i was watching him carefully! I had him walk around the guava tree and hibiscus in front but i kinda want a potted plant i can freely move it around wherever fitting!

Thanks for the suggestions! I havent seen birds coming close but thats why my priority is the fake indoor plant so he would have somewhere to roam in inside! :)

No, what I meant was to cover whatever tree you decide to use OUTDOORS with the netting so it keeps YOUR CHAM from leaving the tree and getting lost!

I suppose because they last a really long time without care. I'm told these look very nice for fakes.

Oh my bad man! I mixed up your comments! And nah...i wont leave him alone outside by himself anyway! Too many factors that might happen!

If you're going to keep an eye on your Cham and want something good looking: http://www.nearlynatural.com/Silk-Trees/View-All

Oh sweet! These are actually nice! Expensive though! Hoping to find something local
