Infra red heat lamp?

Would an infra-red heat lamp disturb my chameleon when it comes to sleeping?

As long as your night time temp don't drop below 60-65 you don't need a night time heat source as far as I know mate

they can actually takes temps down into the 50's. You can have a heat source if needed, but no lights. The lights can disturb their sleep. You can use a small ceramic heater if need be.
