injecting medicine in worms?

I am currently treating my juvenile veiled for coccidia. It is almost gone but not quite yet. I am using ponazuril and was wondering if there was any tips on injecting it into worms. How much am I able to inject into a larger silkworm? Any advice would help, thanks.

You can get quite a bit of meds in crickets and even more in roaches without it oozing out. Not sure about a worm but I bet you could get even more in it depending on size. Dont feed the silk worm for a day so it isnt completely full of chow. You should be able to get a good dose in a large one. Although if it doesnt like the taste of the meds you might drive your cham away from liking silkworms.

Also, inject it in the bum. This is what I do for roaches and crix and they also stay alive quite a while after.

I am curently injecting Tommy's locusts with his anti-inflammatory meds. He has 0.06ml a day. I was told to inject into the abdomen and they do stay alive for a while if he doesn't eat it straight away. The needle seems to go in easier if you aim for the join of the body segments. I have found with Tommy's meds that they make the locusts taste nicer so he is always willing to eat them! Having said that I only offer one per day to ensure he's hungry enough to take the medicated one in the mornings.

i have found it easier with my guy, to give him a treat he really likes, like a super, and just stick the syringe in his mouth while he chews the super and administer the meds that way.

I use the same technique!

The thing about squirting meds into an open mouth is that you need to be very careful that it doesn't go down their airway instead.
