My 6 week old is so skinny... i mean not like ridiculously but still.. you can see his/her ribs.. i think (s)he eats really good and everything but is so skinny. is this normal and then they fill in or.. not normal?

Quite normal. Even juvenile chams can look skinny with big heads. It's about them being fast growers, and all that jazz.

Ribs aren't a good indicator of how thin/heavy a chameleon is. Even a healthy adult can show its ribs (especially when puffed up.) its best to keep track of the chameleons weight with a scale and monitor food intake.

When they are really underweight, their head/cheeks get sunken and the bones of the tail and hips stick out like crazy.
