Is it okay to add a male?

Hi all!

I have a exo terra enclosure (60cmx45cmx60cm) with a 4cm almost 4 months old female pygmy cham.

Is it okay to add a 1 year old male to the setup (with maybe 6/7 cm)? Or should I wait?... My problem is that poygmies are not that easy to find in Portugal, and I'm afraid that one gets sold in the meantime...

Thanks!

for what i know its ok to have a group of 5 pygmies in one set up. with your cage im sure 2 will be fine.

My biggest problem was the age/size diference...

Congratulations! We really enjoy our pygmy chams. It would be nice to see photos of your little ones.

What are you using for feeders? You will want to be certain you see both the larger and smaller cham eating. From what I understand, with pygmy chams the females eventually grow larger than the males, so she should catch up with him, by and by.

Oh, this may be a silly question, but, there are several species of pygmy chams, are your male and female both the same species? And what species?
