so i noticed last night that his feet where shedding skin, and i was worried at first because i thought he has sick or something, but then i thought maybe hes just shedding, so i wake up to him today and his skin looks really pale, especially his legs and it seems as they are shedding, because i can see the skin shedding, but what really worries me is that he has skin covering his right eye, like it was shedding but just got stuck, so he has a dome of skin over his right eye and that scares the crap out of me, he also seems really weak, when he tries moving around, slower that usual. and he actually fell. into my ficus plant's soil, which i layered the top with organic fertilizer, as i read i was supposed too. but he just worries me in general so i came here for help. hes still a baby, ive had him for a month now and i was under the impression he was a few weeks old when i got him.and hes a veiled

He could have stuck shed or something else going on with his eye. I would not have any fertilizer in the plant. No fertilizer at all. If you meant organic soil, that would be ok. I would think he could eat the fertilizer and still get sick. You need to cover your soil with large river rocks so you chameleon cannot eat the soil. It should not be exposed.

from what ive been told i my heat source is way too hot for him so i am going to get a retptisun 5.0 asap, i currently have a powersun a foot above his cage.. he seems like he is shedding, and his skin is super pale, and coming off. will it all just come off on its own? and i took the skin off his eye but it looks like when i took the skin off, that it peeled a little of his head, but that looks like its going to come off too and its really pale. am i worrying too much or will it all just shed and he'll have a normal looking complexion tommorow?

I cannot say if it will be normal or not. It is really not recommended to pull off shed unless it is obstructing circulation on a body part such as the foot or tail or there is a piece that is preventing them from opening their eyes. The Reptisun will not provide any heat at all. It is a UVB bulb. You can try like a 25 watt for basking and see if you can get a temp around 80 for basking for that little guy. He is so tiny so a powersun would not only be too hot but could really hurt his eyes in general from the intensity.

The Reptisun 5.0 tube style bulb(not the coil) and you can use a regular white housebulb for basking. Nothing fancy as far as the basking bulb. I don't know what your house temps are, so depending on that will determine what wattage you will use. I would keep my basking around 80.

so i just ordered the reptisun 5.0 and the "Sun glo basking spot lamp" 50 watts. i also have a dripper but when it drips into my ficus, it leaks on the bottom and just creates a mess, any recommendations on how to set up my dripper?

You could set the Ficus pot in an oversized pot saucer that will catch the water. But, you don't want the pot sitting in the water all the time or the plant's roots will rot. Put a layer of pebbles in the saucer and set the pot on top, so it is raised up a little. You will still have to empty the saucer every day or so.

Either that, or adjust your dripper so it hits some leaves but the overflow drips don't actually hit the potting soil. Then place a separate container under the drips to catch the water.

The skin on his eyelids is pretty delicate, so leave it alone. Shedding is normal and doesn't usually need any help. Higher humidity and regular misting with warm water should help him remove it on his own. If the skin gets stuck and there is any sign of infection (pink swelling around the edges of the old dead skin) take him to a vet.
