Is this ok?

Hey, I have a 4 month male panther chameleon and a 2 month old female panther chameleon.
I plan on breeding these two in the future.
I have their setups next to each other, they can clearly see each other. Is this ok if they grow up seeing each other their whole lives. Or should I move the setups away to the point where they cannot notice each other.,please help me.

they are ok for now but in a few months if you see them stressed and gaping at one another I would move them or put a barrier between them so they cannot see each other. I have two male adult panthers and they cannot stand the sight of one another. Every once in awhile you will read on here that some chameleons get along with one another but that is kinda rare. Especially the males. you having a female, she can produce eggs by just seeing your male. the male is always going to want to mate too!

you have to put some sort of visual barrier between all their cages. they shouldn't be able to see each other...it stresses them out. when they're ready to breed, you can show them to each other at that time.

duh...their age completely went in and out the other ear. if they're that young then it's fine but an age when they old enough to have to be separated then don't let them see each other. like carol stated.
