Yes it’s a veiled chameleon and I only have the hanging vines as fake

You want to remove any fake leaves then, Veiled are known to eat them and an impacted chameleon is a vet visit most of the time.

So you will want to pull out the fake. You can attach them to the outside of the cage but they can't be inside. Don't want baby eating them.

Be careful with how close the heat is to the basking branch. If the wattage is too high this is a thermal burn risk.

You have a wonderful amount of plant coverage. I use my fake plants hung on the outside to give my chams a bit more privacy. Cute little one and if I’m not mistaken, I do believe I see a tarsal spur on one of the back feet. If you’d like confirmation that you have a boy, pics of the back part of the back feet are needed. Care for girls is a little bit different, so is best to know gender early. Very glad to have you here.

How are you getting your temps at basking? What type and wattage bulb are you using for it? You can keep basking a bit lower 80-85 is the range for a male. Most of us will keep them right about 83. Because as they mature their casque will rise up quite a bit closer to the bulb.

I have a temperature gun reader
Temp gun is only going to get a reading on the surface temp. You want to get a temp gauge with a probe. Put the probe at the basking branch and hook it in there with a zip tie so it does not move. This is going to get you an accurate temp. Zoomed makes one and a few other companies do as well. What bulb wattage and type are you using for it?

Handling - every 2 days for 10 min in my hand cause he was hella mean at 1st and I want him to trust me
Feeding - Dubia roaches. Meal worms.waxworks, every other day , gutloaded with carrots lettuce bananas
Supplements - calcium without d3 every feeding
Watering - I use misting to give him water he drinks off of leaves and yes I see him drink
Fecal Description - Brown with white fecal never tested looks like very moist poop.

Cage Type - 2x2x4 combo 3 sided glass, top bottom and front door is screen
Lighting - reptizoo t5 uvb with 75watt 8 inch heat bulb 12 hrs on 12hrs off everything on timers.
Temperature - during day at top it stays around 85 degrees and towards middle it’s about 75 and bottom it’s about 65 and I have heat gun to help me determine the temps
Humidity - during day I have it around 40% and when it mist it goes up to 60% for a few hrs and live plants help keep humid at good lvl and at night I have a automatic humidifier that raises humid to around 85-90 percent when he sleeps
Plants - pothos plants
Placement - cage located in my office area and it’s on a mini table about 2 feet off the ground

So whole routine daily is lights go on around 6am
Around 10 am my automatic mister mist for about 70 seconds to get all leaves wet to se he can drink and then again it mist at 1pm for 30 seconds to drink if he needs it and feed him when I get home from work every other day then he likes to fall asleep at 6 so lights go out instantly the automatic humidifier goes on and maintains the humidity all night and around 3am 4am and 5am Mist goes off for about 70 seconds each hr and then 6am lights turn back on…that’s it

He looks to be a bit younger to me…maybe around 4 months old or even a little younger. I’m going by the size of his casque and lack of vertical color bars. …unless, you have a little girl who have smaller casques and lack vertical bars, but in your pics I do see some decently sized tarsal spurs.

For quantity, I’m going to say give him around 12-15 appropriately sized feeders daily. As he gets older, this amount is decreased. Dubia are great staple feeders, but mealworms and waxworms aren’t. Attaching feeder graphic below. I know we all hate crickets, but sometimes they are a necessary evil. Silkworms are one of my favorite staples and bsfl are also great. gutloaded with carrots lettuce bananas This needs to be improved upon. There’s really only hydration from lettuce. Adding things like various types of squash, sweet potato, bell pepper, low oxalate greens (turnip, mustard, dandelion, collard - avoiding spinach and kale) and a little bit of fruit like berries, apple or other. Another graphic below. There are some commercial diets that are pretty good, such as Repashy Bug Burger, CricketnCrack, etc but usually not the Fluker’s stuff.
Supplements - calcium without d3 every feeding Ok, this is good. You need to add a vitamin D3 so that the calcium can be absorbed and used as well as a multivitamin. The simplest regimen for this is to buy a combo product like ReptiVite with D3 or Repashy Calcium Plus LoD. That will then be used for one feeding every other week.

The ideal is to mist for at least 2 minutes, 2-3 times a day - early morning before lights go on and later afternoon before lights go off. At mid day you can add a 1 minute misting or use a dripper for around 15-20 minutes.

Lighting - reptizoo t5 uvb What strength is your uvb bulb? ReptiSun 5.0 or Arcadia 6% is the ideal standard. Then the distance between basking area and lights can/should be about 8-9” which will provide a uv level of around 3.0. with 75watt 8 inch heat bulb 12 hrs on 12hrs off everything on timers. Baby and little chameleons like to walk upside down along the screen top and are at risk for getting burned. To help prevent burns it’s best to elevate your lights at least a few inches off the screen. I use dollar store wire baskets for this.

Raising your light will probably bring basking temp down perfectly. and towards middle it’s about 75 and bottom it’s about 65 and I have heat gun to help me determine the temps

Pothos does ok without, but most other plants need grow lights.

You’ve got a great start and just need to make a few tweaks here and there. The most important is getting the supplements right. Kiwi is absolutely adorable and I really hope you’ll share with us as he grows up into a big handsome cham man.
