Jack Skellington is a red bodied blue barred ambilobe panther chameleon approx 3years old.
I wanted to put up a review on Jack Skellingtons NEW Dragon Strand large clearside enclosure and heavy duty drainage tray.
First let me start by saying what great customer service I received from this company. Same day response when I emailed to inquire if cage was available to be shipped within 48 hours, and it was. Wasn't difficult to put together all I needed was a Phillips head screwdriver and 1/2in screws for ledges(were not included). Extremely lightweight. I love it clarity is exceptional!
My last cage was a wood custom and let me tell you what a headache it was for me to put together a DIY cage!!!! Buying safe sealants, cutting plexiglass & screen .. putting it all together long process! As much as I wanted it to look like everyone else's online somehow it didn't workout the way I pictured it. Investing in one of these setups with 5 ledges included was a breath of fresh air to say the least! It's safe and going to last is a long time
As for the set up I have one 22" t5 ho uvb light and also a 100w fluker's sun spot pro class mercury vapor flood lamp which emits both heat and uvb. It technically isn't necessary to have a 22" as well as flukers but I keep a couple live pothos plants (English gardens) so I figured it wouldnt hurt. Plus the added light illuminates the cage very nicely.
All the curvy & strait sticks, I cut to size were purchased from English gardens. They have a great selection!
I will be adding a mistking sometime in the future. For now I have a reptifogger which is decent and gets the job done inbetween mistings.
