Jackson Chameleon care- Need input.

Welp, I wont be a Jacksons chameleon owner after tomorrow. things have come up and we are going through a lot of things and I just cant handle them right now. they were sprung on me and i did my best, but I have found someone adequate to care for them and they are being picked up tomorrow. Im truly bummed, but its the best for them and me. Thank you to everyone who has offered support and advice. I do not plan on getting any larger chameleons for a long time. Im looking into pygmys but not for awhile, but my daughter is interested in them and they seem pretty easygoing. Thanks again and I hope no one feels the need to belittle me. Its very very hard, even though I wasnt prepared, I have scattered to do everything properly. Im just twicebitten with the other 2 dying and these being harder.. I just cant deal with the thought of it, so Im doing what I feel is necessary. Thanks. Amanda

i have one living healthy, i wouldnt mind taking it off your hands?
ill give it a great life.. let me know. thanks :)

If the people fall through, I might just do that. I do not know the first thing about shipping, but I just want them to have a great home. Im panicking all day, checking temps and humidity and staring them down until they eat.. Its just tooooooo much. hubby is deploying, got kids at home, dogs, frogs..I didnt want these to begin with but I did the responsible thing and kept them.. I appreciate the offer and should they fall through, I will be in touch.

I'm really sorry they were too much for you, I know it must have been hard to give them up.

Jacksons are really great chameleons, but having two of them suddenly thrust on top of you when you already have a lot of other pets and such can be a bit much.

Maybe you'll decide to get a Jacksons when you're ready for your next cham. :)

Thank you. They went at 7am this morning. (Sheesh!).. It was hard to say bye to Al. I had grown quite attached to him and he was wanting out to hang out this morning.:( But thank you to everyone. Maybe later just not now, or anytime soon but I appreciate the support and kindness.:)

Im bumping this. I have had a lot of people ask me why i am not on as much and what happened to my Jacksons. I know that not everyone reads threads, especially those that do not pertain to their species or needs. Thank you to everyone who has been so kind with their words and inquiries. They are in a happy well looked after home and its sad for me but its better for them, which is all that truly mattered. Thanks, Amanda
