he's not making any sounds in fact he woke up to bask. I'll give him a cricket soon but still I rather take him to a vet before it gets worsed.Any updates?

am calling the vets near me and they say they don't do exotic anymore that's so messed up. but they did once.Keep us posted!
If he takes a small (start small) cricket again, without troubles or/and noises, I would personally observe another 24/48h. Taking him in for no reason is stressful and a vet with less experience with chameleons won’t be any help either or just charge you and maybe prescribe unneeded medication. But, I’m no expert nor a vet and this is just my gut feeling and what I would do if this was my situation. Of course phone calls can’t harm.he's not making any sounds in fact he woke up to bask. thank you I finally found a vet but said that they will be able to see him until Wednesday. right now he's basking I will let you know if he's hungry for a cricket. If he takes a small (start small) cricket again, without troubles or/and noises, I would personally observe another 24/48h. don't worry I will get a bigger cage but I don't know what to fill it with tree trucks my guess but is either dirty ill see. anyhow thank you your chameleon looks very healthy I belive my chameleon will grow healthy and strong too. it's only 40 for checkup it's still a bit too much but that's alright whatever the cost to save my kid. again thank you for your help.Well at least you got time to observe until his appointment Wednesday, that’s your backdoor.
He‘s a handsome boy with a good set of horns. You already told us, but please once finances are strong, get him a larger enclosure, he’ll be thankful for that. True they’re smaller than Veileds but not less active, at least mine not. And my Sonny boy isn’t the smallest as well.

just fill it with a larger centerpiece plant like a schefflera and the you only need some branches and twigs. No expensive commercial bendable things, just a “waste” of money. When you got a garden and don’t use pesticides or something and you can even use branches from your garden. Most of us do this and also looks natural inside the enclosure, win-win situationdon't worry I will get a bigger cage but I don't know what to fill it with tree trucks my guess but is either dirty ill see. anyhow thank you your chameleon looks very healthy I belive my chameleon will grow healthy and strong too. it's only 40 for checkup it's still a bit too much but that's alright whatever the cost to save my kid. again thank you for your help.
100% agree with this.If he takes a small (start small) cricket again, without troubles or/and noises, I would personally observe another 24/48h. the moss vines aren't bad they don't release that much moss he didn't eat them the cup you see in the bottom is to grab the water from falling from the dripper. those crickets are medium size and he didn't had any trouble before. So I am not sure if this was covered but a few questions... The moss vines were they fuller when you put them in? I am wondering if he has been getting pieces of moss off of them.
And in the first video there was a cup in the bottom with a paper towel in it. What was that used for? Could he have gotten a piece of the paper towel?
I would strongly suggest removing all the moss vines. If you want to use fake then buy flukers vines only. And adding some nice full plants in there.
I would size down on your crickets. That one was pretty large especially when he is exhibiting an issue like that.
This is what I do:
So the moss vines are not recommended for chams for a few reasons... First they hold and grow bacteria. Also with this they do not dry out the same as a regular branch or flukers vine will. So they end up gripping a moist surface. This can create irritation to their feet over time. Then there is the fact that they can eat the moss off them. Also if they rub their eyes on them they could get a piece stuck in the eye.the moss vines aren't bad they don't release that much moss he didn't eat them the cup you see in the bottom is to grab the water from falling from the dripper. those crickets are medium size and he didn't had any trouble before.
alright thank you I'll remove those moss sticks then and use the real branches. So the moss vines are not recommended for chams for a few reasons... First they hold and grow bacteria. If your going to have a cup in there to catch water I would not put a paper towel in there. You do not want him targeting it and getting a piece off if he sees water bouncing against it.
The fact that he was making the noises he was is why I said I would not use that size feeder right now. It is a larger size based on his size and width of mouth.
Stick with branches that are not sap producing. So your looking for hardwoods that are not things like cedar, eucalyptus and pine. Birch and oak are good ones.alright thank you I'll remove those moss sticks then and use the real branches.
Sap branches will come from sap producing trees like pine trees.what's a sap branch how can I tell I got it.
am not sure what these branches have but I picked up many random one can I sent a pic and you can tell me if any of these are sap. thank youSap branches will come from sap producing trees like pine trees.
