Tyler, hope he's settling in. I like the name Gratch. Poor little guy having a shed the first day at his new home. He'll be gorgeous after the shed. I'll want to see pictures then.

Here is a picture of Perry hanging out on his umbrella plant. The picture quality is king of bad, but oh well. His colors are really starting to come through. He discovered his reflection the other day in the window (witch i covered up) and he flared up pretty good. He is growing very fast and looking really good!

I''m abroad for a few days and this is a pic my roommate sent me of little Chalotte. How crazy are her patterns? I've never seen this coloration on a veiled - what does it mean? Maybe she was spooked by something?

That is her stress colors. I've moved to fast with the babies before and seen them color up like that. I bet your roommate spooked her.

That's what I figured. Perhaps the flash on the camera or something like that. Very neat to see though, all her pattern just popped right out!

The name 'Gratch' is from Terry Goodkinds books! Gratch, in the book, is a vicious bat-like monster that eats people.... Well, sort of. A co-worker suggested the name, and it stuck!
