Franie, Tula is so beautiful! I think these are the best pictures you have posted of her yet. I am making an album of all the L & C kids.
I also think she's the largest female to date and she was one of my smaller babies and one of the last to go.
Thank you Jann!! I was getting worried she was gonna be a monster!!! I cut back her food a while back already and her temps are still 80. She doesn't look too chubby, just big!! I'm excited to see the blues in her casque!! I can't wait to see what other colors come in!!
Thank you for sharing your pictures. Cute video, too. I see Gratch still likes to eat. He's getting so big! Does he still have all the yellows?
He's definitely got his dad's markings.
His eyes look a bit sunken in a couple of the pics. Is he staying well hydrated? I know sometimes the veileds eyes will look like that in pictures.
He's still rocking the yellows! I'm a little bummed though.... Fall is setting in at an alarming rate, and we've all but lost the sun until February rolls around. He's going to have to make do with his 5.0, bulb, and free range- not going to see his gorgeous greens, purples, and blues for some time.
I'm fairly sure he's staying hydrated. Every day I fill up his 'Super Gulp' dripper which drips all day onto a pothos, but never really empties. His urates are sometimes an off white, but white nonetheless. I also have his MistKing kicking on for 2-5 minutes throughout the day. Sometimes he's not in the mood for a misting- he's easily able to get away from the mist- but since throwing a heating element into the reservoir I'll come home from time to time, and he'll be dripping wet.
How does Tula compare to your other female? Camille's a big girl and would be even bigger if I'd allow it. Did you see above where Camille was 81 grams at 5 months and 99 grams at 6 months?
Gratch!!! As of 9/9/10 he weighs 95 grams, and is roughly 8 inches from snout to vent! Here are some pictures, and an HD video for good measure~
GRATCH EATING SOME SNACKS!!!
he looks great!!!!! Stanley does the same thing, eats the crickets before the roaches....
how often do you let him freerange? does he stay in the cage during the night and out during the day??
I let him free range whenever I'm home which is a fairly large chunk of the day. I move his lights to the free range, open his door, and he comes scurrying out. He stays in his cage at night and when I'm gone though. Just got done adding two new fake trees covered in stuff to climb to his free range. My room looks like a small jungle!
