He looks very awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I am loving the purple. My guy is showing small blue now, but major orange and some time bright yellow all over his belly. This is coming very fast, dang hatch date

How's all the clutch mates doing? It's been awhile since we have updated each other. Mookie joe currently had round worms. Ugh stupid bugs! Thank goodness for panacur. You'd never know it looking at him though. He weighs 110 grams. I imagine once the worms are gone he'll gain some more weight

Happy Hatch day

Well as you all know its the HATCHDAY RANGE for all of our little guys. Godzuki is doing good at 182 grams. He is a fatty, but happy. I am putting up two pictures a sleeping one and a calm one. I'll try to get a pick of Rio in the next few days if i can get him to leave his house.
problem with Rio is that he never fires up. Even when he gets a good view of my other Male, nothing. He's just too chilled I guess. But he's a big boy. much larger than my other male "Dio" who is going on 6 years old i think.

Here is Rio as he looked when I got home today. these are pretty much his all the time colors. Can't get him To fire up for the life of me. Guess I need to get a female and see if horny fires him up.

Cambech!!!! He's so pastel!!! Im obsessed with pastel!!! He's grown beautifully! I think this clutch is just a very calm clutch lol we all say the same things about their temperament haha I JUST got a female. Ill test your theory but it will be awhile she's just a baby right now and I don't want to trigger any eggs !

All the chams from this clutch are amazing.. but mookie joe though.. that guy is on another level I'm jealous I would love to have him... so looking at the beginning of this thread what are they crossed with? Sambava and nosy be?

With the dams genes they are: 34.375% Ambilobe x 33.20375% Ambanja x 26.5625% Sambava x 3.90625% Nosy Be x 1.17125% Tamatave x 0.78125% Maroantsetra.


And thank you i think there's more to a chameleons development then just the genes. Although I do believe it is a VERY significant part, especially when it comes to health and longevity. How well their feeders are gut loaded I think plays a toll into the vibrance of their color. Regular vet visits help as well to test for parasites and things.

Rio is getting some brighter colors lately
