Hi, this is our 1st panther chameleon, we already have a male veiled. Still having problems telling whether Jellybean is a male or female. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Oh, the reason we thought Jellybean was a boy was because of the difference in the base of the tail between ours and the other panther they had there. I took pics to try and figure it out. The 1st pic is of the other panther, 2nd is of ours, and 3rd is of Jellybean after a shed this morning.
I would be in the female camp as well, at about 80% certainty. Every now and then you get a late bloomer on the hemipenal bulge, but as this one is already around 5" total length, it should have a snout that goes out at least to its lip. And it doesn't appear to have such.
