Just Confirming Panacur Dose please

One of my chameleons has a small load of pinworms according to a friend of mine who is in pre-vet who did a fecal for me.

Went to the vet, they didn't seem to know much about dosing. They said to ask the pharmacist.......

Pharmacist gave me a dropper with the Panacur mixed with chicken puree, and said to administer 0.3 ML, for three consecutive days, and again for 3 days in two weeks.

How does this sound? It's a male panther chameleon who is 60grams. Another I have that is his age is just over 100grams, so he's quite underweight because of the worms.

Thanks for any advice.

depends on which panacur you bought. panacur 20, 50 or 100. if you bought panacur 100 match .1ml /cc to 100g of chameleon weight. so in your instance .06 and .1 on the other cham using panacur 100.

Thank you.

Yes it's for dogs lol, it's all I could find in my whole city.

So if it was 100% Panacur, then it's 1cc/100grams of body weight?
But since this is 20%, it needs to be X by 5 to get to 100%? So .30cc/100grams of body weight?

Also, is 3 days in a row okay? I've read a lot of contradictory information. Some people only do it once day, once a week, for three weeks.

try a store that carries stuff for farming. most of them carry panacur 100 liquid/paste. much easier to dose.

Just out of curiosity, is this animal wild caught? How long have you had him, and have you observed any noticable symptoms?

Let us know how he does.

Thanks
