Just some pics

Felt like posting some pics of what I've been working on. A few people asked me about my bioactive enclosures too so figured I'd post them. These are my smaller cages(18x36), the one will be moving in about a month, and the other probably 2 months to their forever homes. They are crawling with springtails and there should be some isos in there, also soil mites, bsfl, and any other critters that get in on their own. The wooden stand is for my dragonstrand. The water will drain out through a pvc pipe when it gets too high(@etclement alerted me to this idea) the substrate will be 2 feet deep.

Impressive. You really have a handle on the bioactive thing.
Off topic. What brand is that wire rack? I may be getting some new scaled family members and will need something adjustable to accommodate various cage heights.

True visionary and pure talent! They look awesome! I want to use live plants some day, I'm just not that good yet. Lacking the confidence to be able to take of a Chameleon and the plants. Besides, the last landscaping class I took it was verified that my thumb is not green. Hahaha! Keep up the great work!

Hey I appreciate the good words, glad you guys like it. It's really not too difficult, I'm no master lol. I'm sure you're all capable! I learned a lot from people on here.
Someday I will give it a try!

@jamest0o0 what is the pink flower ? Your right our boys look much alike . I love his peppermint straight eyes . He looks to be a bit more green then Septiceye but like you say probably picture .

I would love to pick your brain a bit . We will be setting up a new enclosure soon and would like to give the bioactive substrate a whirl . It would make cleaning so much easer but I also know it has to be done right .

@Kristen Wilkins He has a funky yellow that his eyes and stomach are. At night he looks as yellow as a mitsio with just the top greenish blue. He has to be mixed a little I think, need to get a good picture. I'm not familiar with how nosy bes develop, he's been getting more light blues in the middle every shed and has red dots, but he's not even a year old. Idk strange looking guy, but I like him. I feel their turqouise colors don't do a justice in photos, they glow in person.

I think you should definitely try the bioactive, I've really enjoyed it.

Oh and it's some purple wandering jew I tied to the top to filter the light. I have a garage full of plants that I buy when I see them on sale or whatever. That way I can just add stuff as I feel like it lol.

Yes Septiceye has yellow lips like a banana. He is so right teal and baby blue . He just glows . People stop when we are out side to take pictures. They think he's fake . I won't to see if I can find purple wandering Jew . I love it .
